Bad news for the ticklish amongst you, as feathers are set to remain a huge trend; candyfloss froths of pink plumage stole the show at Alexander McQueen during Paris fashion week, Louis Vuitton adorned Edwardian inspired creations with feathers and in other shows, ornate masks of feathers were seen obscuring the faces of models. There is something inherently playful and whimsical about feathers in fashion and I love the unexpected touch they add to an ensemble. Delicately decorating clothes all over the high street and also a favourite in accessories (from earrings to the ubiquitous feather hair extensions) there is no excuse not to be inspired by the birds and add some feather accents to your wardrobe. They certainly tickle my fancy!
