Deathly Hallows!!

top and jeans H&M

Halloween is still a few months away but fashion has already taken a slightly morbid turn with clothing and accessories emblazoned with skulls, skeletons and bones. But this trend certainly isn’t anything new…Alexander McQueen's skull scarves have become almost synonymous with his label, with celebrities and fashionistas alike lining up to wear his brightly coloured scarves. McQueen often toyed with elements of horror and romance in his collections, often taking his inspiration from the dark side of personality and the interplay between dialectical oppositions. Whether you find this fashion spunky or spooky it is certainly easy to wear, printed tees can be paired simply with leggings or skinny jeans and accessorized with some grungy jewellery. Or, if grunge and punk aren’t really your thing team cute florals with skull accessories as a way to subtly work this trend into your wardrobe.
