The Urban Mermaid!!

The ocean has been a sea of inspiration for the fashion crowd this season with waves trimming Stella McCartney’s ultramarine dresses, Giorgio Armani diving into myth and legend for sea goddess dresses and Karl Lagerfeld giving us sheer underwater luxury for Chanel. The childhood fantasies of mermaids have transitioned into a sexy and grown up version of Walt Disney’s fairy tales and the whimsical enchantments have been ‘fashionised’ with an urban edge. The shops are bursting with stunning iridescent items that will leave you glistening and gleaming, so for the prefect splash of shine, the high street really is your oyster! Become your own version of the legendary lady of the sea and find your inner sea nymph.
