The bleached dip-dye favourite of the 80s has been given a second wind so the style conscious amongst us can indulge in both extreme and subtle transitions of heavy colour and pale shades. Ombre dazzlingly blends shades unleashing a gradual explosion of intense colours. Sometimes the hues rest next to each other in the colour wheel making for a more gentle transition, other times the colours are not related at all, which has a much more dynamic and striking impact. And it is not only clothes that are being treated with this transient colour technique, we are also seeing it in hair, nails and make up application. It is also a really easy trend to recreate at home using simple DIY bleaching methods and is a great way to reinvent some of your old denim, giving them a new lease of life with a fresh shade slope whilst making sure you certainly don’t fade into the background!
