With sequins and sparkle transitioning from cheap to chic, glitter-bugs are not left wanting this season as an abundance of twinkling embellishment was seen shimmying down the catwalks. Even putting glitz into daytime is doable, if the silhouette is simple and the sheen subtle. So take inspiration from the likes of Gucci, Jenny Packham or Anna Sui and bedazzle yourselves in sequins galore… and let’s face it, who doesn’t want a little razzle-dazzle in their wardrobe?! The only downside being that the heavy ornamentation can add extra bulk so alternatively you can opt for a piece dotted with just a few sparklers that catch the light and add an element of surprise to your look! Or, try mixing your textures, wear sequins with marabou feathers, leather or denim for a real visual riot. Succumb to the sparkle; it’s time to jazz things up ladies!
